SBI’s Cash Withdrawal Rules will be valid till September 30, 2021. This means that this rule is not a permanent change but only temporary.
State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s largest state-owned bank in the Corona era, has given great relief to its customers. SBI has changed the rules of Cash Withdrawal. Regarding the new cash withdrawal rule, the SBI said that in order to support consumers in the epidemic, the SBI has increased the limit on cash withdrawals from non-home branches, i.e. any branch, through check and cash withdrawal slips.
25 thousand to 1 lakh cash can be withdrawn
SBI has changed the rules of Cash Withdrawal, according to which SBI customers will now be able to withdraw cash from non-home branches i.e. from any branch from Rs 25,000 to Rs 1 lakh. According to the new rule, an account holder can withdraw Rs 25,000 by filling up a cash withdrawal slip, withdraw Rs 1 lakh in cash by self check and a third party can withdraw Rs 50,000.
Also conditions with the new rule
SBI has also laid down certain conditions along with the Cash Withdrawal rules. The account holder has to fill in the cash withdrawal slip and submit the passbook for cash withdrawal of Rs. 25,000. In addition, a third party person cannot withdraw cash by filling out a cash withdrawal slip. It is also necessary to have KYC documents for a third party. This rule of cash withdrawal of SBI will be applicable till September 30, 2021, i.e. this rule is not a permanent change but only temporary.
SBI changed the rule for this
Giving a reason for the change in cash withdrawal rules, SBI said that the bank’s operations, which follow the guideline during the Coronation period, are open only from 10 am to 2 pm. In addition, work is being started with 50 per cent staff to maintain social distance. This caused a lot of problems to the customers of the bank. To alleviate these difficulties, the bank has changed the rules of cash withdrawal. Which can do more work in less time.
